Systemic Perspective - The story becomes visible

In the project Field of Honour Full of Life we work with relatives who tell about their loved ones whom are buried at the Field of Honour and what the impact of the loss was on the family that stayed behind, and the impact through the generations that followed.
By examining a story through a systemic perspective and representing it in a systemic way conscious and unconscious connections, loyalties and influences surface. It becomes visible when a child grew-up whilst it was still too young or when a parent hides their sorrow to protect their child. The effects of these traumatic experiences and choices and how they are handled can continue to influence multiple generations. By visualising and welcoming these insights Field of Honour Full of Life is able to capture the vast and prolonged impact of war.
